Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026
This policy describes how Sluice Data handles personal data. It is written to be transparent and aligned with India's DPDP Act and the GDPR. For data-protection requests, email contact@sluicedata.com.

1. Who we are

Sluice Data ("we", "us") provides an AI data-engineering platform that connects to your data sources and builds governed data pipelines. You ("the customer") remain the controller of the data you connect.

2. The data we process

3. Where your data lives

Your pipeline output (Bronze / Silver / Gold) is written to your own cloud storage. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your source data to train models. Account, billing, and run metadata are stored in our managed database.

4. Sub-processors

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the service: a cloud host (Google Cloud), a payment processor (Razorpay), and an LLM provider for pipeline planning. Each processes only the data needed for its function.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed; source credentials are encrypted at rest and only decrypted during a run; data is isolated per tenant. See our Security & compliance page for detail.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may close your account at any time. Email contact@sluicedata.com and we will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

7. Retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required by law. Pipeline data lives in your storage under your control and is governed by your own retention settings.
